Definition

A termiticide label bars saturated or frozen ground, and shuts its California perimeter use for four months.

Why It Matters

A pesticide label is enforceable law, so the sentence on it stops the truck. A common soil termiticide forbids treating ground that is water saturated or frozen, or where runoff will occur, which is weather and not calendar. The same label carries a separate California block barring the exterior perimeter general pest use on any date between the first of November and the end of February. That is the ant and spider route and not the termite work, so read the seasonal dip against the perimeter book. The re-entry interval everybody quotes is not on the label at all, under an agricultural heading or anywhere else. Ordinary structural jobs carry only a wait until the spray is dry.
