Recurring authorization

An approved trip, most often dialysis, that repeats on the same days every week.
Why It Matters
These are the backbone of a book because they fill the schedule in advance and pay predictably, and they are also the concentration risk: a handful of clinics can be most of the revenue, and a facility that changes provider takes a whole route with it. Split the recurring trips from one-off approvals, count the facilities behind them, and read a book that is mostly recurring trips as both the strongest and the most concentrated version of this business.
