Why It Matters

Four states give four different answers and one of them changed in 2024. California and Nevada both license glazing as a named classification and neither license transfers on a sale. Virginia licenses it as a specialty above a thousand dollars of contract value. Florida repealed its glass and glazing specialty certification in May 2024 after twenty-one years, so anything written before mid-2024 about licensure there is wrong and a seller holding one holds a credential the state no longer issues.
