Why It Matters

They are two businesses under one license. Storefront is catalog material installed in days with the fabricator's engineering behind it. Curtain wall is designed for the building, needs structural calculations and often a performance mockup, and sits under longer retainage on a longer schedule. The revenue split tells you whether the buyer is acquiring a repeatable install crew or a project engineering practice, and those two command different multiples and need different people.
