Why It Matters

It drives capacity and insurer standing at the same time: faster turns put more cars through the same bays and improve the scorecard that decides how much work gets steered your way. Ask what the current figure is and what drives the delays, because parts availability and estimator throughput are different problems. A shop whose cycle time depends on one exceptional technician has a number that leaves when they do.
