Why It Matters

Washington names car washes on its list of severe and high health cross-connection hazard premises requiring premises isolation, so the device is not a plumber's suggestion, it is the condition of having water. Testing follows installation, repair, reinstallation or relocation and then runs annually unless the water system asks for more, performed by a certified tester, with records kept five years or the life of the assembly. The consequence is the part to price: where a consumer fails to comply with testing or repair, the purveyor's corrective actions include discontinuing water service. A tunnel with the water off is a closed business, so read the test file before the equipment list.
