Definition

The share of vehicles passing the site that actually turn in and buy a wash.

Why It Matters

Traffic count is the number every site broker quotes and it is not the number that matters, because a site on a busy road with a hard left turn and no visible stacking lane captures very little of it. The difference is site design, and site design is the one thing a buyer cannot change after closing. Count cars during a weekday peak and a Saturday, and compare what you see against the traffic figure the seller is pricing on.
