A Richmond, Virginia security company that sells, installs and monitors intrusion alarms, video surveillance and access control for commercial and residential customers.
What Happened Next
Sold in 2021 by both backers' account. The name survives as a Johnson Controls page, which says the company is now Johnson Controls Security Solutions and dates its own invoicing changeover to May 2022.
The searchers held it 4 years, from 2017 to 2021.
Bought at exit by Johnson Controls, whose page carries that firm's own announcement of it.

Method & Source
This record is double-sourced: it joined when the purchase and, where the company has traded on, the exit could both be read in primary accounts rather than inferred.
- Search Fund Partners' own account searchfunds.net
- Pacific Lake Partners' own account pacificlake.com
- The company's own account johnsoncontrols.com
These sources name who runs the business and when the firm invested, rather than saying in a sentence that the searchers bought it. One backer gives the trade and says it invested in the summer of 2017 and exited in 2021, naming no person at all. The other's table gives Brian Vanderheyden as chief executive against the same year. Neither says he bought it, and the purchase and the person sit on different sites.
