Why It Matters

Visit counts are capped by the number of exam rooms and doctor hours, so growth comes from what happens inside the visit: dentistry, diagnostics, and the recommendations an associate is willing to make. Ask for the figure by doctor rather than for the practice as a whole, because a retiring owner who has stopped recommending workups is both the reason the number is low and the reason it can rise.
