The share of tire transactions in which a customer also buys higher-margin service, the mechanical work a tire shop sells on top of the tires themselves.

It is the single biggest lever on both margin and valuation in tire retail, since the tires draw the traffic on thin margins but the attached service is where the profit actually lives.
