How long the company may keep operating after the licensed qualifier walks out.

Why It Matters

It is short and it is automatic. California gives ninety days from the date of disassociation to replace the qualifier, and at the end of them the license is suspended or the classification removed without anybody deciding to do it; one extension exists, capped at a hundred and eighty days total, and only for a disputed date, a death, or the agency's own delay. Florida runs sixty days and is harsher in the meantime, since the business may not contract at all until a new qualifying agent is employed unless a temporary certificate issues to finish work already awarded. Neither state lets a license move: it is not transferable to any other person or entity under any circumstances.
