EVV (Electronic Visit Verification)

A federally required system that electronically records the time, place, and identity of each home-care visit, by phone, GPS, or device, to confirm the service billed actually happened.

It is a Medicaid billing mandate: an agency out of compliance risks clawbacks and denied claims, so a buyer verifies the EVV system works and matches the billed hours before trusting the revenue.
