One backer names him as exited chief executive beside the fund on its partners page and lists the company among its past investments. The index host carries its own 2012 investment and 2018 exit and names nobody, and what the exit was is on no page read.

The exit ends of journeys like this one, where the buyer has announced the purchase itself, are on Buyers.

Method & Source

This record is double-sourced: it joined when the purchase and, where the company has traded on, the exit could both be read in primary accounts.

• Endurance Search Partners' own account, The backer's partners page, which names the searcher beside the company and the fund. endurancesearchpartners.com
• Endurance Search Partners' own account, The backer's investments list, which carries the company and its own year. endurancesearchpartners.com
• Search Fund Partners' own account searchfunds.net
• The searchers' own SEC filing sec.gov

These sources name who runs the business and when the firm invested, rather than saying in a sentence that the searchers bought it. One backer names him as exited chief executive beside the fund on its partners page; the index host carries its own 2012 investment and 2018 exit and names nobody. Nothing says he bought it.
