GarageCo (Gridiron Capital)

The Firm

GarageCo Holdings was formed in March 2024 by Gridiron Capital as a platform company of its Fund V, to build a national residential and commercial garage door services business out of established regional dealers. It launched with three at once: P.D.Q. Door Company in Maine, Apple Door Systems in Virginia, and Cunningham Door & Window in Kentucky.

It has kept buying since, and the sponsor announces each one: Cedar Park Overhead Doors in May 2024, Quality Overhead Door in July 2024, Dan's Overhead Doors in August 2025. The companies keep their own names, which the platform calls a family of family brands, so a market can be consolidated without looking it.

That last point is the one a searcher should take away. The trade reads as fragmented and local from a listing site while a funded buyer is working it steadily, and the brand a seller keeps is part of what is being sold. A first-time buyer bidding here is bidding against someone who has done this repeatedly and does not need the seller to leave.

What It Buys

New Canaan, Connecticut. Founder-run garage door dealers bought into a national platform assembled from scratch since 2024, each one keeping its own name, which is why the trade looks less consolidated than it is.

Confirmed Deals

3 deals traced to announcements by GarageCo (Gridiron Capital), 2024 to 2025, newest first. Firms that announce every deal show a fuller run here than firms that report acquisitions as quarterly counts, so read this as the evidence that clears the bar rather than as the firm's whole record.

The other confirmed bidders

No second firm is confirmed in this trade from a primary source. That is the edge of the evidence, not proof the field is clear: The Buyers lists which trades rest on a single confirmed firm and why.
