Galaxy Service Partners

The Firm

Galaxy Service Partners launched in July 2025 as an alliance of commercial door, automatic gate and access control companies, founded by the team behind Guild Garage Group. Its founders say a year in residential garage doors led them to the commercial categories, which they call highly adjacent markets. Like Guild, it tells owners it does not operate like a traditional private equity firm. Its own SEC notice of May 2025 gives a New York address and records a $60 million equity offering, sold in full to 43 investors and filed as a private equity fund. Neither its site nor its releases name an outside sponsor.

What it buys is the commercial end of the door trade. Every release names a commercial overhead door or dock and door company, one adds automatic gates, and none is described as an access control company. Kodiak Equipment Services of St. Louis was its first partnership, in July 2025, and Central Door Solutions of Plover, Wisconsin its tenth acquisition by its own count, in September 2026. Owners keep what it calls unit level ownership: they take chips off the table and draw annual distributions until an eventual full exit.

For a searcher this splits the door trade by customer. Guild buys residential garage door companies, Galaxy buys commercial ones under the same founders, and GarageCo was formed to serve both. A shop with a dock and overhead service book therefore has a buyer built for it. Sellers can also join the platform itself: the owners of RCI Doors and Arcem now sit on its leadership page as operating partners. Its 2026 releases send founders and advisors to its vice president of M&A.

Its PR Newswire newsroom carries eight partnership releases between July 2025 and September 2026, and its own site posts none. The AM/PM release calls that company its seventh acquisition and its first of 2026, so two of its six 2025 partners never got a release. The 2026 releases count from first to fourth with no gap. The Central Door release adds that Central had recently bought Fox Valley Overhead Door of Appleton, Wisconsin. Its brands page shows partner logos with no names or dates.
