Definition

The waste pumped from a septic tank, which by regulation must be taken to a permitted disposal facility, usually a municipal treatment plant.

Why It Matters

Disposal access and the per-gallon dump fee are a core operating constraint and margin input, so the transfer of that relationship is a make-or-break diligence item.
