Fees charged for belt tests, tournaments and gear, on top of the monthly agreement.

Why It Matters

The monthly agreement is the recurring line and this is the one that makes the year work, arriving in lumps around test dates and tournaments. It is also the most fragile, because it depends on students believing the progression is worth paying for, which is a judgment about the instructor. Ask for testing and event revenue by month for two years, and ask who signs off on a promotion.
