Promax Capital Investments
At a Glance
The backer whose cards answer the question the record asks, who bought what, on a site that answers nothing about itself; read its prospectus, not its pages, for what it will write.
- Pricing
- Custom Pricing, Investment terms, not fees. Its site publishes none of its own. The prospectus it files with the regulator puts the acquisition check at 150,000 to 400,000 euros, always a minority, with a fifty percent step-up where it declines the acquisition and an exit from the fifth year. It is funded by a sole shareholder with more than eight million euros, and says nothing on the searcher's economics.
- Best For
- A European searcher who wants a regulated Spanish backer of the search and the deal whose portfolio cards say who bought what, and who will read the prospectus for its terms, since the site names no person of its own.
- Track Record
- Registered with the Spanish regulator in September 2022 with four million euros of share capital, a prospectus dated June 2025 and registered that November, and audits for 2022 and 2025. Its portfolio page pairs thirty companies with acquisition years from 2020 to 2026, six of them before its registration, and its searches tab lists twenty-eight vehicles from 2022 to 2026.

- Funds
- The search phase and the deal
- Based
- L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, beside Barcelona.
- Invests
- Fundamentally companies based in Spain, Europe and the Americas and opportunistically elsewhere, eighty percent of its investment in Europe and twenty outside, by its prospectus; its cards run from Spain, Italy and France to Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Japan.
- Buys
- Companies with 5 to 20 million euros of revenue and 1 to 5 million of EBITDA, by its prospectus; its site publishes no criteria of its own.
- Before A First Call
- A contact form and a general email address, with no named person and no bar beyond young entrepreneurs in its own words.
- First-Time Operators
- A sentence that it helps young entrepreneurs unlock their future through acquisition and a model paragraph on the typical searcher; nothing says a first-time owner is wanted or refused.
- How Long The Search Runs
- No length on the search and nothing about what happens if it ends without a deal, on the pages this review read. Ask what the clock is before you sign anything.
- Published Terms
- Acquisition checks usually of 150,000 to 400,000 euros, always a minority, a fifty percent step-up where it declines the acquisition, and an exit from the fifth year, by its prospectus. The same page gives the model's search-phase figure of 15,000 to 50,000 euros per investor; nothing on the searcher's economics.
- What A Searcher Gets
- Its prospectus states its own check, stake, step-up and exit horizon and gives the model's investor count as ten to fifteen where its own site says twelve to sixteen; nothing on what the searcher keeps.

Pros and Cons
Pros
- Its portfolio cards pair each company with the vehicle that bought it, the chief executives it names and an acquisition year, thirty companies on the day read, which is the pairing most backers withhold
- A regulated vehicle with a public prospectus, two audits and a registry row, so its check size, minority stake and geography are published even though its site says none of it
- Says in its own words that as a private fund without limited partner commitments it keeps a long-term perspective on its companies, with eighty percent of its money in Europe by its prospectus
Cons
- Its site names no person, no date and no figure of its own; the search fund model's twelve to sixteen investors, two-year search and five-to-seven-year exit are restated as if they were its terms
- Its two tabs are one page at two addresses and disagree with each other, a vehicle that bought sits on the searches tab, and its copy is error-strewn
- Six of its acquisition cards predate its own registration, four cards carry a partner pill in two spellings the site never explains, and its remuneration policy is a heading with no link
What Searchers Say
Read whole with no sitemap: home, the portfolio and searches tabs, contact, the legal notice, the privacy, cookie and sustainability pages and the terms page, then the regulator's registry row and the prospectus that row links, dated June 2025 and registered in November 2025. No searcher-forum discussion of the firm was found.
How to Approach
Firms do not publish a term sheet you can prepare against, so this is how traditional (investor-backed) search capital comes in, what it weighs, and how to arrive ready.
The Typical Arc
- A first conversation on your background and why search, before any deal.
- A deep dive on your plan: industries, criteria, and how you will source.
- Backing for the search itself, then a fresh underwrite when you bring a live deal.
- A board seat and governance once you close.
What It Weighs
- Whether you will finish a two-year search, not only start one.
- The quality of your thesis and target criteria.
- How you will behave on a cap table over a long hold.
How to Prepare
- Bring a sourcing thesis, not a blank slate. Buyer Profile Builder
- Know which firms lead versus follow, and on what terms. Investors
- Make your operator case on one page. Buyer Profile Builder
