Why It Matters

The permissible limit is fifty micrograms per cubic meter as an eight-hour average with an action level at half that, and an employer either implements the specified controls for each listed task or assesses exposure itself. The written plan has to name the tasks, the controls, the housekeeping and the access restrictions, and be reviewed at least annually.
