Tecta America

The Firm

Tecta America calls itself the leading national commercial roofing company and dates itself to February 2000, when ten local roofing contractors combined to form it. Its own about page puts the scale at over 110 locations and roughly 5,500 roofing professionals; no sponsor is named on its pages.

It buys one contractor at a time and gives each its own release, with an acquisitions index by year back to 2001. Big Horn Roofing of Laramie, Wyoming came in May 2026 and Skyline Roofing of Rockingham, Virginia in October 2025; further back, Commercial Roofing of Plover, Wisconsin was welcomed by an existing Tecta company in 2020.

A commercial roofing seller is bidding into a buyer that has done this more than a hundred times. The acquired name survives, since the releases say a company continues operating under its existing name as a subsidiary, and employees remain with the company, so the crew transfers intact.

What It Buys

Rosemont, Illinois. Commercial roofing contractors bought one at a time into a national platform that has done it more than a hundred times and says so in each release.
