The Firm
Mammoth Holdings was assembled as a car wash roll-up starting in 2018, when the Atlanta private equity firm Red Dog Equity partnered to form the platform. The Pritzker Organization, the investment arm of Tom Pritzker's family, provides equity; CCMP Growth Advisors took a minority stake in December 2022; and Oak Hill Advisors supplies its debt. The company is run from Dallas.
By late 2024 it operated roughly 148 express conveyor washes across eighteen states under more than twenty brand names, calling itself America's premier express car wash platform. It runs a dual growth strategy, developing new greenfield sites while acquiring existing independent and small-chain washes and folding them into its regional banners. Its stated target, the drive to five, is 500 sites.
