The Firm
Guardian Fleet Services runs more than 1,100 vehicles from over 45 locations across Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee and Texas, serving municipal, state and federal agencies alongside commercial fleets. It took growth investment from Chartwell Investments and Entrepreneur Founder Capital in early 2023 and has been the most acquisitive towing buyer publishing on its own domain ever since.
It calls the model affiliation rather than acquisition, and the distinction is real enough to matter to a seller: the stated intent is to keep locally run operations, culture, employees and legacy brand names. Euless B&B has served North Texas since 1954, Howard's has been in Atlanta since 1971, Isaacs was founded in 1999 by Keith and Sammie Isaacs, and every release names the founders before it names the buyer's plans.
The cadence is the reason this row exists. Eight dated announcements sit on its news index inside the window, covering at least fourteen acquired companies, including a single April 2026 release affiliating six wrecker services at once. A towing owner in the Southeast or Texas planning an exit is very likely to meet this firm.
Read again in September 2026: its verb changed after Texas Auto Carriers to partnership, merger and affiliation. Two of those are rows above with the word on them; the six network affiliations of April 2026 across Louisville, Dallas, Sarasota and Clarksville are not, because an affiliation is not a purchase and the release does not say one happened. A San Antonio wrecker service combined with Texas Auto Carriers that July under no release at all.
