First Onsite Property Restoration

The Firm

First Onsite traces itself to 1998, when Interstate Restoration opened in San Antonio, and took its current name after its 2019 integration into FirstService Corporation, whose subsidiary it is. It publishes 110-plus locations and 2,600-plus team members and positions itself for clients whose facilities cannot afford downtime.

It publishes an acquires post per deal in its own resource library. All Restoration Solutions in April 2024 is the United States deal. The two newer ones are Canadian, Great Canadian Roofing and Siding in February 2025 and RBT Restoration By Trades of Kelowna in November 2025, so the firm is plainly still buying and the recent evidence sits across the border.

A restoration owner selling here is selling to a public company two layers up, and the counterparty at the table is a regional First Onsite operation rather than FirstService. The acquired name is retired into the First Onsite brand, and what the buyer prices, by its own descriptions, is commercial and large-loss capability rather than residential volume.

Read again in September 2026, it is still buying, in Canada: a Kelowna restoration company in November 2025 and a majority stake in an Alberta and Saskatchewan roofing and siding contractor the February before. The United States side's last named purchase is still the April 2024 one; a Springfield, Massachusetts expansion that October was a hire of a rival's team and not a purchase, in the release's own words. The resource type opened that evening added four American restoration purchases from 2022 and 2023 and a Canadian roofing stake, while a Springfield expansion titled as a purchase was a team hire; the boilerplate has moved from 97 locations to more than a hundred.

What It Buys

Greenwood Village, Colorado. A restoration network two layers below a public company, buying commercial and large-loss capability in the United States and, more recently, Canada.
