BioIVT

Who They Are

A Long Island biospecimen and research services company that buys specialist collections and keeps them running where they are, so a seller's conversation is about the donor network and the inventory.

In the company's own words, BioIVT is a leading global provider of research models and value-added research services for drug discovery and development, specializing in control and disease-state biospecimens: human and animal tissues, cell products, blood and other biofluids. Its stated mission is to enable smarter science through personalized biospecimen solutions for the life science and diagnostic industries.

What it said it was buying at PrecisionMed was supply: its chief executive said the purchase would expand its supply network and inventory and its capacity to meet demand for cerebrospinal fluid and liquid biopsy products. The release said PrecisionMed would keep its headquarters and its network of donor and collection sites, and disclosed no price. Its press page records a new chief executive in February 2026 and the addition of BeCytes in November 2025.
