Driven Brands

The Firm

Driven Brands is the automotive services group behind Auto Glass Now, running more than 4,200 locations with over 7,500 employees from 440 S. Church Street in Charlotte. Its glass business was assembled by acquisition inside about a year, and by the time it bought Auto Glass Fitters in September 2022 it called itself the second largest player in United States auto glass services.

It is on this page mostly because of what it publishes. Its sell-your-glass-center page states acquisition criteria in plain numbers: physical or mobile format, three million dollars or more in total revenue where it has no presence and one million where it already does, an emphasis on insurance-driven or fleet-driven work, and all technicians on W-2 rather than contract. Almost no buyer in any trade on this site prints its own screen, and an owner can read that list and know in a minute whether a conversation is worth starting.

One caution belongs beside it. Driven Brands franchises several of its other banners, and its recent announcements have been divestitures rather than purchases: the United States car wash business, the Canadian distribution business, and the international car wash business all went out between 2024 and 2025. The glass arm is company-operated and buys operating shops directly, but the group's appetite moves.

What It Buys

Charlotte, North Carolina. The company behind Auto Glass Now, and the rare buyer that publishes what it wants: a shop at three million in revenue or more, insurance or fleet driven, with every technician on a W-2.

Confirmed Deals

1 deal traced to announcements by Driven Brands, 2022, newest first. Firms that announce every deal show a fuller run here than firms that report acquisitions as quarterly counts, so read this as the evidence that clears the bar rather than as the firm's whole record.

Nothing newer has cleared the bar in 47 months, against a registry whose newest confirmed deal is August 6, 2026. A gap past 12 months can mean the firm has slowed, or that it has stopped announcing; treat it as a prompt to check its own newsroom before assuming either.
