Cross Rapids Capital
The Firm
The Sarasota purchase below is the closest thing on this shelf to the transaction a reader of the glazing guide is actually contemplating: a family glass and mirror shop established in 1974, doing impact windows, shower enclosures and custom mirrors, bought as substantially all assets, with the owner-president staying on as a vice president running the brand he built.
The platform underneath it was itself recapitalized rather than founded, and the release for that one says equity investment and not purchase even though the previous sponsor fully exited. That is why the Sarasota deal is the row's ground and the platform deal is background: the language rule this registry uses elsewhere applies here too.
One consequence for the rest of the shelf. The sponsor that built that Florida platform from 2016 exited it in March 2025, so under this registry's own rule an exited platform supports no present-activity claim and that firm gets no glazing tag. The buyer who replaced it does.
What It Buys
New York, New York. A lower middle market industrials sponsor whose Florida glass platform buys single owner-operated glass and mirror shops, keeps the brand on the truck and puts the seller into management.
Selling to them one day, or watching them as the other bidder? Track them in the Contact Book so the relationship has a next-touch date.
Confirmed Deals
1 deal traced to announcements by Cross Rapids Capital, 2026, newest first. Firms that announce every deal show a fuller run here than firms that report acquisitions as quarterly counts, so read this as the evidence that clears the bar rather than as the firm's whole record.
