# Hazmat employee training

A term used when buying industrial supply distributor.

The recurring training anyone who prepares a regulated shipment has to hold.

A distributor shipping aerosols, batteries, solvents or compressed gas is offering hazardous material for transport, which makes the people packing and papering it hazmat employees. The training runs on a three-year clock, and a new employee or one changing job function has ninety days, so it is a rolling obligation and not a certificate somebody earned once. It is also among the cheapest things to test in diligence: ask for the dated records by name, because a lapsed file is both a penalty and a carrier refusing the next load.
