# Crane work

A term used when buying tree service.

Removals that need a crane, which price several times a climbing job and need the gear.

It is the top of this trade's price ladder and the reason two tree companies with the same revenue can have very different margins. A crane is real capital and a real operator, so a book heavy in crane removals is a book that depends on both staying. Ask what share of removals used a crane, whether the crane is owned or rented, and who is certified to run it, because the answer is usually one person.
