# Repossession work

A term used when buying towing.

Recovery jobs done for lenders, which pay on a schedule and arrive counter-cyclically.

It is the half of a towing book that behaves opposite to the rest: consumer calls fall when money is tight and lender recovery rises. A yard with real repossession volume has a customer that pays reliably and a workload that softens a recession, which is worth a premium. It also carries its own compliance weight, because a wrongful repossession is a lawsuit and not a complaint, so read the procedures alongside the revenue.
