# Natatorium plant

A term used when buying swim school.

The pool and its mechanical room: heating, filtration, dehumidification, chemistry.

An indoor teaching pool is a building fighting physics: water held near ninety degrees, air managed for humidity that otherwise eats the structure, filtration and chemistry running constantly. The mechanical plant's age and maintenance history are the deal's hidden capital schedule, dehumidification units and heaters are five and six figure replacements, and a neglected plant announces itself in rusted fixtures and swollen doors before any inspection report says so. Walk the mechanical room, not just the deck.
