# Pseudoephedrine logbook

A term used when buying pharmacy.

The federal record and daily limit a pharmacy keeps on cold medicine sold from behind the counter.

This is the front end's one closing-day item and it is easy to miss, because the guide's controlled-substance term sends everybody to look at the prescription side. The seller's self-certification is tied to a place of business and is not inherited with the keys, so a store that changes entity without filing holds a category it cannot legally sell from the first morning. Behind that sit two years of retained records the buyer takes over and can be asked to produce, plus the 3.6-gram daily cap per purchaser, which an undertrained counter breaks at volume. Read the last two years of logbook practice as a proxy for how the front end is actually run.
