# Revalidation clock

A term used when buying medical transport.

The five-year re-enrollment every Medicaid provider must clear, whoever owns it.

It decides whether a buyer inherits four years of runway or four months. A target mid-cycle is a target whose next full screening lands on the new owner. Federal rule requires the ownership disclosures to be filed again within thirty-five days of any change in ownership. A buyer enrolling as a new provider pays the application fee unless it is already enrolled with Medicare or another state, or paid the fee there.
