# Spring load restrictions

A term used when buying dump truck.

The dated state weight embargo that cuts legal payload while roads thaw each year.

Minnesota's stated intent is that each window last no more than eight weeks, and in 2026 they ran March 3 to April 20 in the Metro and southern zones and March 20 to May 15 in the north. Each start and end date comes with as little as three days' notice. The lost weeks remove real revenue instead of shifting it. A [trailing twelve months](https://searchspheresource.com/glossary/ttm) taken from a strong autumn overstates the [run rate](https://searchspheresource.com/glossary/run-rate), and a business whose customers cannot wait loses the work instead of deferring it. Ask for monthly revenue across three years and read the spring of each one, because the annual figure hides the shape entirely.
