## The Firm

Sun Auto Tire & Service owns and operates more than 575 tire and service centers across the United States, in its own words one of the nation's largest independent tire and automotive service providers. Acquired stores keep or take regional brand names, Plaza Tire Service in the Midwest among them, so the network reads as local shops while operating as one company.

Its newsroom announces the tuck-ins with dates and names, and they are exactly searcher-sized. There is Integrity Automotive, a single Issaquah, Washington shop, the Main Street Tire & Auto location in Virden, Illinois, rebranded to Plaza Tire, and a Service Street store in Cypress, Texas joining the Houston footprint. Single owner-operated stores, absorbed one at a time.

The corporate site also carries a standing sell-your-business door, which completes the arc a searcher should understand. In this trade the rival bidder on any decent shop is a 575-store buyer with a form for the seller to fill in, and beside Mavis that makes tires a two-consolidator market wearing local paint.

Read again in September 2026: four purchases the registry lacked since May, one of them disclosed only in the sentence announcing its rebranding, and the boilerplate passed six hundred stores in September. The openings between the purchases are new builds, which the releases keep apart.
