## The Firm

Kept counts its purchases where a reader can see them. Its 2024 release on a commercial painting company calls it the 134th acquisition since the company was founded in 1973, and a June 2026 release announcing three more calls itself the 146th. It has a sponsor and says so. DFW Capital Partners announced a completed investment in May 2023, the month the group took the Kept name over the Fleetwash business it grew from, so a competing bidder here works to a fund clock a seller never sees.

THE COUNTER AND THE NEWSROOM DISAGREE, AND THE COUNTER IS THE USEFUL NUMBER. Twelve purchases separate the 134th from the 146th, and the newsroom names three of them. A searcher in these trades is competing with roughly one Kept purchase every two months and will see about a quarter of them announced, so the absence of a release is not the absence of a bid. The Fleetwash side keeps its own count, over 94 power washing operations, and its own wall of seven bought companies with no date against any of them.

What makes it unusual on this shelf is the SPREAD. Its own copy names nine brands across pressure washing, house washing, commercial painting, kitchen hood cleaning, parking lot sweeping and line striping, fleet and truck washing, solar panel cleaning, coil cleaning and shopping cart services. So a single newsroom is evidence for several trades that had no confirmed buyer at all.

Its acquisitions page publishes a process instead of a form, which is rarer than it sounds: an NDA signed by both parties before any conversation, read by the founders directly, with a reply in a few days. It prints seller testimonials by name, and one of them is the tell a searcher should read twice. The co-founder of Krystal Klean says he spent twenty years in cleaning and bought twenty companies himself before selling this one, so the competitor in these trades is often a serial buyer who has already run the play and then took the exit. Read again in September 2026: no card since June, which still links the wire release naming its three companies, and the three support commercial painting, pressure washing and shopping cart services, the last a trade this row does not claim.

## Confirmed Deals

Deals traced to announcements, newest first. Firms that announce every deal show a fuller run here than firms that report acquisitions as quarterly counts, so read this as the evidence that clears the bar rather than as the firm's whole record.
