Not dated: These rows date a purchase to a YEAR. A year padded to January the first invents a precision nobody measured.

## Who They Are

Scorability is a college sports recruiting platform that connects athletes with coaches. By its own count, four thousand college programs use it, more than sixteen hundred universities trust its software, and over a million athletes a year use it to get recruited, across eight sports.

It sits on this page as the strategic acquirer most searchers will actually meet: not a fund and not a giant, but a product company consolidating its own category, which bought Ryzer, a search-fund-run sports-technology business, to add capability. A buyer like this values fit with its roadmap over a multiple on a spreadsheet, and the diligence conversation is run by operators who know the niche better than any generalist bidder would.

## The Exits They Bought

Each row is a company a searcher built, with the year of the exit and the sources that establish both halves: the buyer's own announcement, and the record showing the company was searcher-owned.

### Ryzer (2025)

Tim Heath and Michael Kahn ran Ryzer, a Des Moines events-and-registration platform serving over 25,000 sports camps, which they bought through their own search fund, Embark Partners. Scorability announced the acquisition in November 2025 to merge its recruiting tools with Ryzer's camp network, with Kahn staying on as president and Heath becoming chief financial officer of the combined company.
