## The Firm

Emler counts its schools in its own releases as it buys them. Colorado Springs was its forty-third and its tenth state in August 2023, Olympia its forty-fifth that October, and six New Jersey schools took it to fifty-one facilities in twelve states. Morgan Stanley Capital Partners invested in October 2022, and its group, Emler Swim & Gym, lists twenty brands, seventy-one swim schools and fourteen gymnastics locations in nineteen states.

Its November 2025 post on Saint Street Swim School in Houston says the school is now officially Emler Swim School and names no purchase, so it is not counted here.

Why it matters more than one deal: this category is dominated by franchisors, and a franchisor does not buy an owner's school, it sells them a territory. An owner looking for an exit needs a buyer that operates, and this is one.

A note on how the deal is dated, because the page itself carries no visible date and no structured one.
